Qiwei Wang received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2015, 2017, and 2022, respectively. Dr. Wang received the France engineering degree in mechanical engineering of Université de technologie de Troyes.
He is currently the Assistant Professor in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives with the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology. He has authored more than 40 technical papers. He holds 10 Chinese patents. Dr. Wang is the Member of IEEE, IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, IEEE Power Electronics Society, China Power Supply Society.
He is the Co-Chair of International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems 2022 and 2023, International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference 2024. He is the reviewer of 9 IEEE journals, IET Power Electronics, Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society, Journal of Power Electronics.

Electromagnetic model analysis, parameter identification technique, Health status prediction, position sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous motor.
