Prasanalakshmi Balaji earned her two master’s degrees in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, India, and one more master's in Computer Engineering from Anna University, India, respectively, and a doctorate in Image processing from the Research and Development Center, Bharathiar University, India. She was a Postdoctoral researcher in the Data Science Laboratory at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Prior to that, she was a Research Associate at the College of Computer and Information Technology, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2009.
She won the first position cash award for Research and Innovation from Deanship of Quality, King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia, in 2022. She holds seven International patents and multiple funding’s from the Deanship of Scientific Research at King Khalid University on 'Mathematical Modeling in Medical Image Processing using Neural Networks,' as well as 'Medical Data Transmission in the Secure IoT.'
She published 50+ research articles in various International Referred Journals (SCIE/SCOPUS) with good Impact Factor, published International Conferences indexed in Springer, IEEEXplore, and ACM, and Book Chapters and Published 4 Authored Books in Computer Science.
Also, she currently serves as a Guest Editor in Trends in Immunotherapy Journal (SCOPUS) and as a reviewer for MDPI-Applied Sciences; Cancers; Sensors; Mathematics, The Journal of Supercomputing, Computational Intelligence and Neuroscience, IEEE Access, and IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, and many. Also, she is an Elsevier-certified peer reviewer.
