Dr. Mehdi Salimi is a faculty member who has held positions at various Canadian universities, including KPU, StFX, and McMaster University. He has also been a visiting professor at UniRC and a research fellow at MEDAlics - Research Centre of the University "Dante Alighieri" in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Dr. Salimi completed his Ph.D. in applied mathematics in 2011 from UPM. Before that, in 2006, he earned a master’s degree in pure mathematics from Tehran, Iran.
Furthermore, he has excelled in his postdoctoral fellowship at the renowned Center for Dynamics (CfD) at Dresden University of Technology, Germany, where he completed his position in January 2015. Dr. Salimi is a senior member of the Center for Dynamics within the Faculty of Mathematics at Dresden University of Technology, Germany. In addition, he is a team member in the Decisions Lab in DiGiES at the University of Reggio Calabria, Italy. Dr. Salimi’s impressive academic journey is complemented by his extensive publication record, boasting approximately 70 articles.
His research interests span the fields of Game Theory, Dynamical Systems, and Data Science, demonstrating his expertise and multidisciplinary approach. Moreover, Dr. Salimi has made valuable contributions as an editorial member of esteemed journals, including Mathematical Methods of Operations Research, Soft Computing, Dynamic Games and Applications, Results in Control and Optimization, Engineering Science and Technology an International Journal, Mathematics, and Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems. His involvement in these prestigious publications demonstrates his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering academic dialogue in his field.
