Biography
Maytham Alabid was born on August 4, 1993, in Baghdad, Iraq. He graduated from University of Baghdad – Faculty of Engineering – Department of energy engineering in 2015.
He had a master's degree in Capture CO2 from a coal power plant with solar energy utilization at University Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Energy Engineering. Currently, he is a Ph.D. student at Politehnica of Bucharest, Faculty of Energy Engineering.
His scientific research activities focus on optimizing the CO2 capture processes using different technologies: membrane and chemical absorption that are integrated into various power plants and cement industries.
